Saga Group is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Group Professional Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will manage end-to-end audits with autonomy, understand risk and controls, and deliver robust testing across Saga.

You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, and use data analytics to provide practical insights. Hybrid working from Folkestone with travel as required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years' experience in Internal Audit, including at least 3 years as a Senior Auditor or Audit Manager.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls and materiality, with practical application.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to produce credible audit reporting.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of work and balance multiple priorities while delivering quality.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver end-to-end audit assignments with a high degree of autonomy.
• Develop understanding of the business area under review, its objectives, risks and controls.
• Apply Group strategy when assessing risk and controls.
• Identify key risks and controls and design testing strategies.
• Execute robust testing to assess design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Use data and analytics to enhance audit testing and insight generation.
• Identify significant issues and report with authority and credibility.
• Draft audit issues, reports and supporting documentation to a high standard.
• Perform follow-up to validate effectiveness of actions by management.
• Build strong relationships with management and stakeholders across Saga.
• Work in line with IIA Standards and Saga’s audit methodology.
• Undertake limited national and international travel as required.
