Job summary

ICE Internal Audit Group in London is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to own sections of audit engagements, identify risks and controls, perform testing, and draft issues to meet methodology standards. You will work with diverse teams across geographies and contribute to cross-cutting audits such as financial crime controls and data integrity.

You will design tests, conduct interviews, and prepare workpapers that stand up to independent review, while staying within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Internal Audit, assurance, risk or control experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong written communication and ability to explain complex matters in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned sections of audit engagements end-to-end risk and control identification, walkthroughs, testing, evidence retention and issue writing.
• Contribute to scoping by identifying key risks, controls, data sources and procedures to reach a supported conclusion.
• Manage multiple engagements over the year with competing deadlines and changing scope.
• Support integrated audits and cross-cutting thematic work such as financial crime controls and data integrity.
• Design tests proportionate to risk and materiality using analytics and targeted sampling.
