Job summary

Kingfisher is seeking an Internal Auditor to lead a diverse portfolio of audits across its international retail businesses, including B&Q, Screwfix, and Castorama. The role emphasizes risk assessment, testing of financial, technology, and e‑commerce controls, and delivering insightful reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CIA/CIIA/CPIIA considered equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in internal audit, internal controls, or external audit.
• Strong governance, risk management, internal control and ITGC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments across financial, technology and e-commerce activities to identify key risks and shape audit coverage.
• Deliver risk-based audits and reviews, testing controls to provide assurance on effectiveness.
• Use data analytics and audit tools to identify control weaknesses and assess risks.
• Partner with senior management to agree actions, resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Produce high-quality audit reports for senior management and Board-level stakeholders.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement of the audit function.
