Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Permanent Senior Internal Auditor based in London. You will deliver end-to-end internal audit assignments, review processes, gather evidence, and prepare concise reports for stakeholders.

The role requires strong experience in planning audits, identifying controls improvements, tracking actions, and liaising with Accounting & Finance teams to ensure audit requirements are met. Salary is £75k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering internal audit assignments.
• Ability to assess processes and controls with practical recommendations.
• Experience gathering and documenting audit evidence.
• Confidence producing clear audit findings and written reports.
• Ability to analyse information and identify improvements.
• Experience tracking audit actions and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal audit assignments in line with audit plans and priorities.
• Review business processes and controls to identify improvements.
• Gather evidence through document reviews, data analysis and discussions with colleagues.
• Document audit findings clearly with practical recommendations.
• Prepare concise audit reports for stakeholders with a clear view of key findings.
• Track agreed actions and follow up on progress to ensure timely completion.
• Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to understand processes and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation to provide a clear record of work completed.
