Senior Interior Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Interior Designer with 5 years of experience in leading teams to join a well-established design agency, specialising in high-end commercial, hospitality, and residential interior projects. This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 (DOE).

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the design and management of multiple commercial and residential interior projects from concept to completion, working closely with creative directors to deliver innovative and functional design solutions.

You Will Be Responsible For:

1. Overseeing a team of designers, ensuring high-quality creative output and adherence to project timelines.
2. Developing and presenting innovative design concepts that align with client requirements.
3. Managing client relationships, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
4. Preparing and reviewing design documents, technical drawings, and specifications.
5. Supervising procurement, sourcing materials, and negotiating with suppliers.
6. Coordinating with contractors and fabricators to ensure seamless project execution.
7. Monitoring project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
8. Leading site visits, meetings, and design presentations.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Previously worked as an Interior Designer, Interior Design Manager, Project Designer, Interior Architect, Architectural Designer or in a similar role.
2. At least 5 years of experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects.
3. Experience in interior design, particularly within commercial and hospitality sectors.
4. Background in collaborating with fabricators, specialist suppliers, and manufacturers to design and source custom products and finishes.
5. Knowledge of project set-up, procedures, processes, programmes, budgets and contractual arrangements.
6. Excellent design skills and experience in CAD design process.
7. Skilled in Vectorworks (or willingness to transition from AutoCAD), as well as InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp would be beneficial.
