Job summary

Une entreprise de design de premier plan recherche un Senior Interior Designer pour rejoindre leur équipe à Édimbourg. Avec des projets passionnants au Royaume-Uni et à l'international, le candidat idéal a minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans le retail et des compétences éprouvées en conception. Vous serez responsable de l'ensemble du processus de conception, de la création de moodboards à la supervision des designers juniors, tout en respectant les délais.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience au Royaume-Uni sur des projets de retail.
• Bonne connaissance de la stratégie retail et du flux client.
• Capacité à travailler sur tous les stades du projet.

Responsibilities

• Compléter les tâches de conception de projet de la conception à la livraison.
• Participer aux réunions avec les clients et sur site (déplacements occasionnels).
• Gérer la charge de travail pour respecter les délais.

Senior Interior Designer Job in Edinburgh

A is available with a design consultancy working on retail projects!

This strategy driven design practice specialises in retail and hospitality projects. They are now looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their Edinburgh team and work on retail projects. The successful candidate will be working exciting UK and international projects across all stages.

Role & Responsibilities

• Complete project design tasks through from concept to delivery
• Attend client and site meetings (travel will be required on occasion)
• Complete detailed working drawings and specifications
• Create moodboards and design presentations
• Completion of concept proposals
• Manage workload to meet deadlines
• Work closely with wider project team
• Support junior designers where required
• Report on project progress to the Design Director.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in either Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ UK experience working on retail projects through all stages
• Knowledge of Vectorworks
• Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and Enscape
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of retail strategy and customer flow.

What you get back

• £40,000 – £45,000 (open for more experienced candidates)
