Job summary

A leading interior design studio based in Chesham Bois is seeking a passionate senior designer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in residential design, project management from concept to completion, and a proficient skill set in AutoCAD and SketchUp. This full-time position allows for one day of remote work per week after probation, providing the opportunity to work on diverse projects across Buckinghamshire and Middlesex.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Buckinghamshire/London residential market.
• Candidates must have 3+ years' experience in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial concept to completion.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and oversee project budgets.

An exciting opportunity to join a small team as we take on more fantastic projects across Buckinghamshire and Middlesex London.

We are seeking a talented, hard working and passionate senior designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility and a passion for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing interiors.

* Minimum 6 years experience (senior role) & minimum 4 years experience (mid-weight) in Buckinghamshire/London residential market

* (Candidates with less than 3 years' experience in AutoCAD and SketchUp will not be considered).

* Expert knowledge in joinery & architectural finishes

* Experience in site coordination

* Manage projects from initial concept to completion

* Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings

* Lead client meetings

* Oversee project budgets

* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Confidence interacting with clients, suppliers & trades

* Positive & willing go-getter who takes initiative & sees no task as too small

* Team player & good sense of humour is essential

* Full UK driving licence & ability to drive to sites/supplier.

This is a full time role from our studio in Amersham with the ability to work one day per week remotely after a successful probation period. The designer will be working in a team that are responsible for space planning, developing interior design concepts, and creating construction drawings. Day-to-day tasks will include coordinating with team members, selecting FF&E, and ensuring the successful implementation of design projects from initiation to completion.
