Senior Interior Architect

An award-winning luxury interior design studio is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Interior Architect to take a lead role across a portfolio of high‑end residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Interior Architectural Director, the Senior Interior Architect will act as a client‑facing project lead, responsible for delivering design excellence from concept through completion. The position requires an experienced designer with a refined aesthetic, technical expertise and strong leadership skills to manage complex luxury schemes both in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from concept design through to completion, ensuring design intent and quality are maintained at every stage.
• Act as the primary client contact, building long‑term relationships and providing strategic design advice.
• Develop and present detailed design concepts, floorplans, elevations, bespoke joinery details and FF&E specifications.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with project goals.
• Represent the studio at client meetings, design presentations, and industry events.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the continued development of studio standards, processes and technical excellence.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the luxury interior design sector – residential, hospitality or commercial.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering high‑value projects to an exceptional standard.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in a client‑facing role.
• Strong technical understanding of construction, detailing, joinery and FF&E procurement.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Highly organised, with the ability to balance creativity and precision under tight deadlines.
