Job description

NUH Digital Services are looking for an experienced Senior Interface Analyst/Developer to join our Interface Development team.

Overview

The successful candidate will be familiar with NHS Hospital Information Systems in general, with extensive knowledge of Patient Administration Systems and their message interfaces. Proven expertise in the building and maintenance of HL7 interfaces is required. This role requires regular on-site attendance, and interviews will take place on site. Responsibilities
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Interface Development Team and other Digital & Information teams to take a leading role in the analysis, design, and development of interfaces for the Trust.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for less experienced colleagues in the field of Trust HL7 interfaces.
  • Help develop and maintain standards, procedures, and best practice guides, including implications for new technologies in the team.
  • Support the full development life-cycle for interfacing, from analysis/design through to post-implementation support.
  • Work with the Trust’s current Integration Engine (Rhapsody) and consider candidates with experience in other integration engine technologies.
  • Participate in regular on-call duties as part of the role.
