Job summary

BlackLine seeks a Senior Value Advisor for the Intercompany team. You will be the senior solution expert, partnering with Sales, Product and Customer Success to solve complex financial challenges and demonstrate the full value of BlackLine’s Intercompany platform.

You will lead technical discovery, design scalable architectures, and present demonstrations that translate goals into automated, compliant blueprints, influencing customers and product direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Significant experience in pre-sales/solution architecture within enterprise software or ERP ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead technical and solution expert during the sales process, shaping the solution strategy for high-impact opportunities.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify customer needs and demonstrate ROI of the Intercompany platform.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand a customer's financial landscape, ERP systems, data governance and compliance.
• Design and present compelling solution architectures and demonstrations addressing intercompany challenges.
• Translate business goals into scalable, compliant, automated blueprints.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Partner and Customer Success teams for seamless pre- to post-sale transition.
• Provide guidance on integrations, data management and change management.
• Advise C-suite and finance/IT leaders on automation trends and financial transformation.
