Job summary

RSM UK seeks a Senior Integration Engineer to design and implement robust, scalable integrations across its application landscape. You will work hands-on with Workato and Azure Integration Services, bridging architectural design with practical delivery to ensure changes meet RSM’s security and standards.

You’ll align approaches across decentralised teams within the federated IT model, contribute to reliable integration patterns, and drive reuse of services while minimizing point-to-point

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of integration concepts, including REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven design and error-handling patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services and, ideally, Workato, including building flows or recipes, configuring connectors and managing credentials.
• Proven ability to design robust integrations with retries, monitoring hooks, graceful failure handling and happy-path flows.

Responsibilities

• Design integration solutions that align with architectural standards and security frameworks.
• Develop, configure and deploy integration workflows, connectors and integrations.
• Support federated IT initiatives across Audit, Tax and Consulting to align integration approaches across teams.
• Peer review integrations to meet quality, performance and security benchmarks.
• Define and maintain integration design templates, reusable components, design patterns and guidelines.
• Translate integration requirements into technical deliverables with change owners and tech teams.
• Design integrations that maximise reuse of MCP services and managed connectors, reducing point-to-point integration.
• Evaluate new integration capabilities within RSM’s vendor network and support incident resolution and performance.
