Job summary

Crew Clothing Company in Kingston upon Thames is undergoing a major technology transformation. As Technical Lead for Integration & Architecture, you will own the integration architecture across our eCommerce, ERP, and logistics platforms, setting patterns and governance from day one.

You will lead a lean internal integration team, work with external delivery partners, and shape how the team operates. This hybrid role runs 37.5 hours per week with four office days and one WFH day, located in

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Solutions Architect or Technical Lead in retail/omnichannel.
• Deep knowledge of integration architecture: REST APIs, event-driven patterns, middleware.
• Experience connecting ERP systems (Dynamics or similar) to eCommerce and logistics.
• Confidently manage third-party delivery partners technically, reviewing designs and holding them to account.
• Strong documentation skills to formalise decisions and improve processes.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, multi-programme environments.
• Experience in fashion or multi-brand retail is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture across all systems — defining patterns, standards and governance.
• Lead the technical handover from our current delivery partner and document decisions.
• Maintain the architecture decision log and ensure formal recording of integration choices.
• Design ERP platform integration layer from day one with ERP partner.
• Govern the eCommerce OMS integration build with delivery partner to ensure proper connections.
• Provide technical leadership to the Integration Developer and QA and Delivery Planner as the team grows.
• Define and maintain runbooks and documentation to reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for integration incidents and go/no-go decisions.
