This is a critical central role with responsibility for:
- Managing and overseeing our global property insurance programme
- Ensuring the real estate business has adequate corporate and D&O insurance coverage

Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Manage the global property insurance programme for the AXA's real estate platform (Property Damages, loss of rent, Terrorism, Property Owner Liability) including invoicing, claims management, impacts of additions / disposals
- Manage W&I insurance associated with transactions
- Arrange as necessary property construction insurance
- Manage the corporate insurance programme ensuring the Professional Indemnity and D&O policies are adequate for the real estate business line.
- Select and manage key global insurance brokers, ensuring a close working relationship, clear processes and clear measurement of broker performance in line with agreed SLAs
- Advise the real estate business (mainly Transactions, Asset Management, Legal teams) on insurance related matters and insurance clauses in specific contracts.
- As relevant advise the business teams for properties that are not currently part of the Global Insurance Programme, in relation to procuring and managing appropriate insurance on these assets.
- Ensure there are documented and published processes for managing the insurance programme for both property and corporate related insurance, including the invoicing and billing arrangements, claims, property acquisitions and sales.
- Manage the Insurance Officer role in the Central Services Team
- Effectively and efficiently communicate on insurance topics to the real estate business Management Board and where relevant providing an aggregated view at company level
- Address ad-hoc requests from Fund Management, Asset Management, Transactions, Legal etc
- All other topics related to insurance

Your qualifications and experience:
- University degree from a recognised institution
- Significant experience in insurance in a real estate context, ideally in a global context
- Experience in real estate investment management companies, or Real Estate Private Equity companies desirable
- Experience managing staff and working in teams. Strong leadership and development skills
- Experience managing Global Insurance Programs

- Excellent knowledge across the insurance lines (property, terrorism, PI, D&O, W&I, Construction insurance) in a global context
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Ability to work in complex organisations
- Very good analytical skills
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer and service delivery orientated
- Rigorous, self-motivated, organised and autonomous
- Strong command of English language (written and verbal) essential. French language skills advantageous
