Job summary

Bupa is seeking a talented Insurance Product Manager to join our Consumer & SME Private Medical Insurance team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role focuses on shaping and evolving our PMI proposition with a strong emphasis on customer value and commercial impact.

You will lead or support product initiatives, conduct market and customer analysis, and collaborate across functions to deliver governance, regulatory compliance and performance insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Product management experience within Private Medical Insurance, General Insurance, or Financial Services.
• Experience supporting or leading product reviews, fair value assessments, or product governance activities.
• Knowledge of proposition development and product lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, market trends and customer insights.
• Experience working across multiple business functions to deliver change.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong presentation and report-writing capabilities.
• A good understanding of risk management, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery and development of the Consumer & SME PMI product strategy.
• Leading or supporting the development and launch of product enhancements and new product initiatives.
• Acting as Product Lead on projects, including regulatory changes and proposition improvements.
• Conducting market, competitor and customer analysis to identify opportunities and shape future product development.
• Producing high-quality reports, business cases and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
