Job summary

Mills & Reeve is recruiting an insurance disputes lawyer at Senior or Principal Associate level in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on professional indemnity, professional discipline and coverage work, with high-value, multi-party disputes.

You will own matters, supervise juniors, and develop client relationships while contributing to business development within a respected national team. The firm values autonomy, strong technical expertise, and a proactive, client-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) at a leading insurance law firm.
• Strong technical expertise in insurance coverage.
• Proven experience managing complex, high‑value insurance disputes.
• Experience acting for insurers and/or reinsurers.
• The ability to run matters with appropriate supervision and confidence.
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers.
• Strong communication skills and commercial judgment.
• A proactive approach, with an interest in client development.
