Role Overview

As our Senior Insurance Advisor, you will ensure the implementation of group insurance programs and act as an advisor to the operative business of the Group in the United Kingdom. You will be part of the international insurance organization of BRVZ / Insurances, supporting the Group’s activities worldwide, with offices in 15 countries. This is an exciting role in a rapidly growing Group, offering an international work environment at the interface of construction and insurance.

Responsibilities

1. Support the operative business of the STRABAG Group in the UK in terms of insurance.
2. Implement, use, and service local policies of international Group Insurance programs.
3. Cooperate with international departments of BRVZ Insurance, leading placements of large and mega projects and special risks outside the scope of annual group covers.
4. Act as a link between the operative business, UK brokers, and the international insurance team.
5. Manage insurance claims by communicating with involved parties to collect information, ensure reporting, and liaise with other departments as appropriate.
6. Contribute to maintaining and expanding business relationships with the UK insurance market.
7. Understand local laws and regulations regarding insurances and liaise with international departments.
8. Administer premium payments and process insurance documentation in internal IT systems.
9. Participate in implementing projects, procedures, and guidelines to align with strategic goals.
10. Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and recommend best practices.
11. Assist in aligning insurance management with group insurance directives.
