A leading organization is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to develop and deliver digital learning programs for the Research Systems Programme. This full-time role involves establishing a digital training strategy that enhances user transitions to new digital services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instructional design principles and be proficient in tools like Articulate and VYOND.
The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing and delivering the digital learning programs for the Research Systems Programme.
This role is crucial for the successful implementation and smooth transition to new digital services for all users of our research systems. The post holder will work closely with the Skills and Capability Manager and will have clear management over the digital learning components supporting the new digital service. The candidate should have experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE), instructional design principles, and the creation and delivery of e-learning.

Qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, a Diploma Level 6 in Instructional Design, and CIPD Level 5 or relevant experience in learning and development. Proficiency in Articulate, VYOND, Canva, and Synthesia is required.
Skills and expertise required include evaluating service performance, stakeholder management, advanced computer skills, and experience in developing online and blended learning using current technologies. Data analysis skills, organizational ability, and excellent communication skills are also essential.
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to build relationships, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and manage multiple projects effectively. Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment are also important.
Key qualities include experience in evaluating service performance, stakeholder communication, advanced digital skills, and the ability to develop effective online learning journeys. Educational qualifications include a relevant degree, Diploma Level 6 in Instructional Design, and CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
Analytical skills should include data analysis and synthesis, with attention to detail. Interpersonal skills must encompass relationship building, collaboration, and excellent communication skills.
