A leading organization is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to enhance their digital learning program. This pivotal role involves developing a training strategy and fostering a collaborative learning environment supporting diverse stakeholders. Candidates should possess a relevant degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with key digital design tools.
The Senior Instructional Designer will be responsible for the development and delivery of the digital learning programme for the Research Systems Programme.
This role is key to the successful implementation and smooth transition to new digital services for all users of our research systems. The post holder will work closely with the Skills and Capability Manager but will have clear management over the digital learning required to support the new digital service. The candidate should have experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE), instructional design principles, and the design, development, and delivery of e-learning.

Qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience in learning and development/digital learning design, Diploma Level 6 in Instructional Design, and CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Articulate, VYOND, Canva, Synthesia is required.
Skills and expertise needed include experience in evaluating service performance, stakeholder management, high-level computer skills, and experience with digital technologies for online and blended learning. Knowledge of online metrics, data analysis, and information governance is essential. Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and build effective stakeholder relationships.
