Our client is seeking a high-performing, self-driven Business Development professional to lead asset management growth across the UK and Europe.
This is a front-line role focused on sourcing new capital, building strategic investor relationships, and driving revenue across institutional channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Originate & Close: Proactively generate leads, convert prospects, and close new business—targeting private banks, wealth managers, family offices, pensions, and institutional investors.
Market Coverage: Build, manage, and deepen relationships across the institutional and wholesale investment landscape.
Client Engagement: Organize and lead roadshows, investor events, and targeted outreach initiatives.
Execution & Scale: Leverage CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and digital channels to scale business development efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, service delivery, and compliance adherence.
Team Leadership: Guide and support junior team members to build a high-performance culture.
Candidate Profile:
Experience in asset management sales or business development
Proven track record with UK/European investors; experience in alternatives a strong plus
Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and strong relationship builder
Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
Agile, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environment
