William James Recruitment is partnering with a leading international law firm in Manchester to appoint an Insolvency Solicitor. You will handle high-value, contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters and work with partners across offices to deliver commercial, integrated legal solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years PQE in insolvency litigation, excellent organisation and time-management, and a proactive, client-facing approach.

Qualifications

• 6+ years PQE as a Solicitor with insolvency litigation experience.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise under pressure.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-value, contentious insolvency matters.
• Work with partners and cross-office teams on complex mandates.
• Support clients across sectors including public sector and property-related insolvency.
• Manage your own caseload with autonomy while meeting deadlines and targets.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver commercially focused legal advice.
• Collaborate with other specialist teams to provide integrated legal solutions.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and raise your professional profile.
