Job summary

Jobs-In-Law is seeking a talented insolvency senior associate solicitor to join our growing Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors and shareholders on a range of complex disputes.

The role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, with opportunities to mentor juniors, support business development, and work closely with partners to grow the department.

Qualifications

• 7+ years PQE in insolvency.
• Strong technical knowledge of insolvency law and practice.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A can-do, motivated and positive attitude.
• Committed to delivering exceptional client service.
• High IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, creditors, directors, shareholders and businesses on contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters.
• Draft correspondence, claim forms, particulars of claim, defences, witness statements and settlement agreements.
• Assist a Partner with larger claims and handle claims from instruction to conclusion.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior solicitors and trainees.
• Conduct legal research and prepare advice for clients.
• Maintain control of allocated caseload including time recording and accounting.
