The Role:

The Senior Insights Manager will be tasked with delivering industry expertise to internal and external partners. A large focus of their role will be to provide accurate partner media valuations as well as delivering key sales sponsorship data to lead discussions with current and prospect commercial partners. They will also be expected to explore new methodologies and innovations to measure the effectiveness and ROI of sponsorship to ensure Formula E remains first class in media valuation.

• Insight & Commercial reporting:Lead on delivering all insight and commercial reporting around our partners’ media valuation performance.
• Agency partner management:Own and develop the relationships with our media evaluation/research agency partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery. This will include resource and budget management.
• Market research oversight:Management of ad hoc and continuous syndicated research to support wider go-to-market initiatives and workstreams.
• Data driven decision making:Ensure strategic alignment and collaboration with the Strategy & Planning team to ensure insights effectively inform business priorities and decision-making.
• Commercial focus:Maintain a strong commercial focus by using insights to identify and support revenue growth opportunities across partnerships and go-to-market activity.
• Team Leader:Lead and mentor a team, driving their success and development while fostering collaboration and high performance.

What we're looking for in you:

• Industry acumen:Previous experience in a similar role within a similar industry (preferably within a commercial sports rights holder or in an audience insight role).
• Technical skills:Strong working knowledge of Google suite (Google Sheets and Google Slides) for commercial data analysis and presentations.
• Data analysis:Ability to select and present relevant commercial data clearly in dashboards and reports. Plus, the ability to translate complex data into a clear narrative or a non-technical audience.
• Research & project management:Experience managing large-scale research and global data projects.
• Communication & stakeholder engagement:Skilled at presenting complex insights to internal and external stakeholders (including at a senior/C-suite level).
