A leading retail company is looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to work within their Analytics & Data Science team. The role involves generating actionable insights from complex data sets to influence business strategy. Candidates should have experience in SQL, Python, and a strong background in retail analytics. This position offers up to £60,000 and supports a hybrid working model.
About the role: The Analytics & Data Science team is a core capability spread right across the John Lewis Partnership, using advanced analytics and data-driven insights to help stakeholders solve complex problems and make better, more informed decisions. We are the driving force behind the data that powers our two well-loved retail brands, John Lewis and Waitrose.
As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will be a crucial partner embedded within a specific business area, focusing on generating deep, actionable insights into our customers and retail operations. This is a hands-on role where you\'ll apply your technical expertise in SQL and Python and your talent for clear storytelling to deliver timely recommendations that directly influence business strategy. Salary - Up to £60,000.
Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you\'ll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Analytics team aim for around 1-2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.
Location - This role is based at our London Head Office.
