Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
• Experience in mental health, learning disability or forensic inpatient services.
• Experience managing a clinical caseload and delivering structured interventions.
• Strong leadership, supervision and multidisciplinary working skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist clinical caseload of complex OT needs.
• Interpret referrals and undertake structured initial assessments.
• Develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions.
• Provide supervision to junior staff and support learning opportunities.
• Promote service development, governance and continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic direction and coordinate inpatient OT resources.
• Maintain communication with patients, carers and MDT.
