Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for inpatient and complex presentations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of the integrated team.
• Assess functional abilities and safety; plan equipment, adaptations and community discharge needs.
• Utilise Assistive Technology and make referrals as required.
• Communicate with patients and carers to explain assessments, prognosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with GPs, social services and other agencies; participate in MDT meetings.
