Job Description:

A growing business is looking for a Senior Innovation & Process Technologist to support the Head of Technical & Development.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with some flexibility required. Along with a competitive salary, you will also benefit from flexible WFH options.
As Senior Innovation & Process Technologist, your duties will include:

• Producing NPD samples from concept (kitchen) to scale up trials, launch & post launch support (factory) and completion & issue of associated reports & documentation.
• Ensuring all documentation associated with the NPD & EPD process is controlled, completed & saved in the appropriate manner & to a high degree of standard.
• Collating & sharing to the wider business team, information on raw materials, processes, costings, specifications, artwork, cutter guides, QAS, Submission Forms and any other associated NPD tasks to ensure timely completion to plan.
• Ensuring all NPD activities are planned, co-ordinated & executed effectively utilising the resources of the department efficiently.
• In conjunction with the commercial team, ensuring sample requests are processed, completed and transport organised to ensure timely delivery.

Were looking for a Senior Innovation & Process Technologist with:

• Solid experience & understanding of recipes, ingredients and development processes to create products that are in line with briefs, ensuring early consideration to Technical Compliance, Operational constraints and cost parameters.
• Extensive experience & knowledge in product scale up from Development Kitchen to factory with an understanding of Production processes.
• An understanding of product specifications & submission forms & able to complete given paperwork confidently and in a given time frame.
• Understanding of all NPD paperwork
• Knowledge of how the production and technical departments operate
• Knowledge of NPD process and the impact of each check point
