Enterprise-level specialist, infrastructure support on Azure Active Directory, Cloud, AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop), Entra ID, O365, VMware Virtualization, as well as associated storage solutions such as EMC and SANs.

Technologies include:

  • Windows Servers 2019/2022
  • Proxy Servers, SmoothWall
  • 3rd/4th Line Technical Support
  • PowerShell, scripting, Intune, Microsoft Auto Patch, Azure Update Manager

The company is seeking a professional, client-facing Senior IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to strengthen their team in the public sector space. This role offers a progressive opportunity in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering, ideal for candidates aiming to advance their IT careers.

Role Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Senior Infrastructure - Systems Team, you will provide enterprise-level support on:

  • Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Cloud services, including Azure Virtual Desktop and O365
  • VMware and storage systems

Specific Duties:

  • Support and manage Microsoft Azure and O365 environments
  • Administer Active Directory and Azure AD, including group policies
  • Manage enterprise domain and Azure AVD
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and other automation tools
  • Maintain general networking, ideally with Palo Alto and Cisco devices
  • Handle server hardware, SAN switches, and storage provisioning (EMC)
  • Manage Windows Server 2019/2022 environments
  • Configure proxy servers (e.g., SmoothWall)
  • Apply Microsoft Auto Patch and Azure Update Manager, systems hardening
  • Administer Exchange 365 and Microsoft Intune
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and designs
  • Lead technical projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certifications
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience with service management ticketing systems
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours shifts; overtime available
  • Project management skills
