Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Strategic Projects team in Hatfield. You will lead complex water infrastructure programmes from inception to delivery, guiding cross‑functional teams to ensure resilience and regulatory compliance.

In this role you’ll develop project management frameworks, manage consultants and delivery partners, and build effective relationships with regulators and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects, ideally in water/utilities or regulated sectors.
• Strong programme management skills with risk oversight and commercial awareness.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Strategic Projects team and help deliver critical infrastructure projects that will support the future resilience of our water network.

This is a great opportunity to lead the development and delivery of complex, major water infrastructure programmes. You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using your project management experience to support key decisions and help turn important projects into reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery against programme, cost and quality objectives.
• Develop strong project management framework with the delivery team to manage consultants, contractors, and delivery partners to drive high performance and project success.
• Build effective relationships across the delivery team and with regulators, operational teams and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects, ideally within water, utilities or a regulated environment.
• Strong programme management, risk management and commercial awareness.
• The confidence to challenge, influence and lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.

• Salary £54,000 - £67,000 dependant on skills and experience
• Level 2 Car allowance of £4,305
