Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Planning lawyer to join its national Planning and Future Energy team at Managing Associate or Legal Director level, in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role offers full flexibility, including part-time or full-time working arrangements.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years' PQE in planning/infrastructure law, with demonstrable experience advising on nationally significant projects and/or DCOs, and the ability to lead, supervise

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE in planning/infrastructure law.
Experience advising on nationally significant infrastructure projects and DCOs.
Experience with public and private sector clients; local authority exposure advantageous.
Strong commercial mindset and proven client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Lead on complex planning advice, applications and appeals, focusing on transport and renewables.
Advise on nationally significant infrastructure projects, including DCOs.
Handle consenting matters for offshore wind developments.
Collaborate with colleagues across UK offices and mentor junior team members.
Contribute to business development and strengthen client relationships.
Support growth of the infrastructure and DCO practice and share knowledge.
