Job Description:

You will join one of the UK’s leading financial services companies, who have built their success by putting people at the heart of their organisation by identifying and delivering products and services that are right for their customers. The IT Engineering team are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with Data Platform Services experience to join their team to provide high level technical knowledge to complete the troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents/problems. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong experience administering and working with IBM Cognos (Analytics ad Data Modelling), along with experience administering PowerBI, Data Gateway, Fabric and Qlik.

Main responsibilities

• Act as an SME for providing strategic expertise in IBM Cognos, Power BI and Qlik
• Responsible for regulatory reporting, critical support, BAU and new deliverables
• Responsible for maintaining and setting standards for IBM Cognos
• Accountable for the transition and ongoing support of relevant solutions to meet business requirements and IT architectural strategy
• Mentor and support junior colleagues
• Provide out of hours support when required (approximately one week out of every 5 weeks)
• Strong experience with IBM Cognos, Power BI and Qlik
• Cloud platform experience – either AWS or Azure
• Knowledge or experience supporting and administering SAS Analytics and Informatica
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
• SQL experience
• Salary up to £66,000 + 20% bonus
• Hybrid working: Two days a week in the office
