RSK LDE Ltd was formed in 2003 after a number of specialist design engineers joined RSK in order to strengthen its existing in-house capabilities. It now has a highly experienced team made up of professional civil and structural engineering staff with many years experience in the assessment, design and construction of major development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver designs for infrastructure projects on time and to budget.
  • Input into engineering strategies and ensure these are adhered to.
  • Negotiate technical approval for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 etc.).
  • Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice.
  • Maintain effective communication with design team and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure LDE’s quality procedures are complied with.
  • Understand fee preparation and project cost budgets.
  • Assist in mentoring and managing junior staff.
  • Assist with technical report production.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of: -Highway design and ground modelling.Drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems.Autocad,PDS/XP Site 3D (or similar),Microdrainage Windes/Flow (or similar),Microsoft packages.
  • Ideally 5+ years experience in a similar sector within Consultancy.
  • Educated to degree or HNC level.
