Senior Infrastructure Engineer

My client has opportunities for expansion to meet the current healthy forward workload generated by the impetus for growth in the UK within the commercial, retail, industrial and housing sectors.

The Infrastructure team operates from a state of the art open plan, air conditioned office with on-site cafe, situated close to Watford town centre and Watford Junction railway station, with easy access to the M1 and M25 motorways and easy commute links from London and the Home Counties.

The Infrastructure team specialises in providing sustainable development infrastructure solutions to mainly private sector clients in both the UK and overseas. The team also works closely with other disciplines to provide integrated solutions on high profile multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage projects and attend meetings.
2. Liaise with clients, design team, and third party representatives.
3. Produce reports (FRA, drainage strategy, specification, etc.)
4. Coordinate with the design team to ensure internal project work can be released in IFC or similar format.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Good level of experience within the UK.
2. Aspiration to gain Incorporated or Chartered status.
3. Experience in highway and drainage design with a working knowledge of UK design standards.
4. Ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables.
5. Private sector experience and working knowledge in the use of Civil3D, Microdrainage, Autocad, Autotrack, and Navisworks.
6. Experience in producing designs that can be incorporated to BIM Level 2 status.
7. Proven report writing and communication skills.
