Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Our Edinburgh-based client is looking to onboard 5 Senior Infrastructure Engineers to join their 24/7 operations team focused on Networks and Mainframe. The team operates on 12-hour shifts, 365 days a year, on a rota that includes both day shifts (7am - 7pm) and night shifts (7pm - 7am). This role is fully on-site at the Edinburgh office due to the nature of the work.

They are seeking a mixture of skillsets, primarily involving hands-on engineering in Cisco Network or Mainframe capacities, with an understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.

Key skills include:

• Cisco Networking background or Mainframe experience
• Basic understanding of AWS or Azure
• CCNA or CCNP Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls
• Network engineering, troubleshooting, and support skills

The role offers a basic salary between GBP55,000 and GBP65,000, plus a GBP13,400 annual shift allowance. Additional benefits include a 10% pension contribution.
