Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in network appliances and cloud infrastructure to join their expanding Infrastructure and DevOps team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance environments — with a key focus on F5, Palo Alto, CheckPoint firewalls, Zscaler, and AWS.

You will play a critical role in the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions, while collaborating across teams to embed best practices in automation, security, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of F5 appliances within AWS environments
  • Develop and converge network patterns into a self-service, unified architecture
  • Configure and manage network security appliances, including Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls
  • Design, deploy, and manage secure, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across hybrid environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
  • Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configurations and network topologies

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in configuring and supporting F5 load balancers
  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewall platforms
  • Familiarity with Zscaler is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, ELB, Transit Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, VPC Lattice, VPN
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Ansible
  • Solid scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, or similar
  • Experience managing production-grade systems, especially in high-availability or regulated environments
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers within the team
