Job summary

ALOIS UK is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Lancashire to support an Oracle-centric environment on OCI/Exadata. You will manage BAU tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure uptime for mission-critical databases.

Required skills include Oracle RAC/Data Guard/RMAN, Oracle RDBMS 11g–23ai, Terraform and Ansible (IaC), plus AWS public cloud experience and migration tooling like Datapump, GoldenGate, and ZDM. This is a senior, hands-on role based in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Database RAC, Data Guard and RMAN.
• Hands-on with Oracle RDBMS 11g–23ai and Exadata/OCI.
• Proven BAU support and troubleshooting of mission-critical Oracle platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support for Oracle-based environments in a critical database setting.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability and performance.
• Coordinate database migrations and patching using Datapump, GoldenGate, and ZDM.
