Job summary

Sword Group is seeking an experienced infrastructure consultant to design and deliver hybrid and multi-cloud solutions for clients in energy, public and finance sectors. You will lead discovery workshops, translate requirements into architecture, and coordinate with sales, delivery and vendor teams to ensure successful deployments.

Role requires deep knowledge of virtualization, backup, DR and security practices, with strong communication and pre-sales capabilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Nutanix, Netapp, Dell Backup Solutions and SCCM is essential.
• Experience with CIS hardening using GPOs and hyperconverged infrastructure is required.
• Strong networking, security and cloud platform skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and translate requirements into high- and low-level designs.
• Develop and implement hybrid/multi-cloud solutions using on-premise, private and public cloud tech.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery and vendor teams to ensure project success.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends; advise customers on digital transformation and AI adoption.

About the role

Support customers to conduct in-depth discovery to understand current state. Develop comprehensive and customised hybrid infrastructure solutions that address client business needs, leveraging solutions such as on-premise, private cloud, and public cloud technologies. Develop detailed implementation plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives.

Manage the technical implementation of solutions, coordinating with internal and external resources to ensure successful deployment and configuration.

• Lead technical discovery workshops and translate requirements into high- and low-level designs
• Develop solutions leveraging Dell, Nutanix, Cisco, Microsoft & AWS technologies
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding their digital transformation & AI Adoption journey
