McFall Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to shape our data-centre and cloud modernisation effort. You will work on both legacy and greenfield environments, building a brand-new cloud platform and influencing modernisation decisions across regions including the UK, US and Asia.

You’ll contribute to data-centre engineering, cloud automation, and Terraform deployments while collaborating with global teams to drive automation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong data-centre engineering experience.
• Networking across firewalls, routers and switches.
• Cloud knowledge with hands-on build capability.
• Terraform coding experience.
• IAM, Entra ID, Purview and Power Automate experience (advantageous).
• MDM experience across Mac and Windows (advantageous).

Job description

We’re hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Data Centre and Cloud Modernisation to help shape the future of our global technology estate. If you enjoy modernising complex environments, balancing data‑centre engineering with cloud build, and influencing the direction of a major transformation programme, this role could be a brilliant fit.

You’ll work across both legacy and greenfield environments — supporting existing data centres while helping build a brand‑new cloud platform from scratch. The organisation is in its discovery phase, so you’ll have real input into what gets modernised, what gets automated, and what moves to the cloud.

This role spans hands‑on engineering, design input, and collaboration with teams across London, Edinburgh, Dublin, the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Asia and Australia.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

• Strong data‑centre engineering experience (must have)
• Networking experience across firewalls, routers and switches (must have)
• Cloud knowledge and hands‑on cloud build capability (must have)
• Terraform coding experience (must have)
• IAM, Intune, Purview, Entra ID, Git and Power Automate experience (advantageous)
• MDM experience across Mac and Windows (advantageous)
• Someone who can balance both network and cloud work — or bring depth in one area with willingness to grow in the other
• Ability to contribute to design and work closely with the architecture group
