Job summary

Axians UK is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead and govern a complex, multi-site IT infrastructure portfolio. You will own the end-to-end design, delivery and operational integrity of networks, servers, storage, virtualization, workplace, data centres and cloud services, ensuring secure, resilient and cost-effective services aligned to business priorities.

You will drive roadmaps, manage budgets and supplier performance, and lead a high-capability team to deliver ITIL-aligned improvements

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading infrastructure operations and engineering teams in complex, multi-site environments.
• Demonstrable management accountability for infrastructure performance, people, budgets, suppliers, risks and delivery commitments.
• Broad technical knowledge across enterprise networking, data centre and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure strategy, roadmaps, standards and operating model across networks, servers, storage and cloud.
• Lead design, delivery and operation of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and security services with documented configurations.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, security and lifecycle health with measurable KPIs.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, site records and procedures with clear ownership and review cycles.
• Provide leadership, direction and succession planning for the infrastructure function.
