Job summary

bet365 Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives across infrastructure, networks and cloud services.

You will design and implement IaC templates, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive self-service automation while upholding coding standards and governance. This full-time role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to shape scalable, vendor-agnostic automation at scale.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IaC principles.
• Expertise in network and security technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall).
• Experience with content delivery tech, load balancing, caching, cloud services.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on with Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT.
• Proven ability to manage change and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

The Infrastructure Automation team designs reusable services, technical governance, and advanced orchestration, while driving strategic initiatives such as AI-driven automation. The teamleveragesa diverse technology stack, utilising multiple APIs and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to combine all infrastructure and network technologies under a vendor-agnostic abstraction tier.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work from home policy.

Preferred Skills and Experience
