Job summary

Odevo is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to own end-to-end design, implementation, and lifecycle management of on-premises and cloud infrastructure across the UK estate. You will drive reliability, performance, security, and mentor engineers while shaping technical standards and partner with cross-functional teams.

You will lead cloud migrations to Microsoft Azure, manage cloud cost optimization, and define backup/DR strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of IT infrastructure engineering with ownership of infrastructure design and leading migrations/transformation projects.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell) and experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, Windows Server, Intune) and enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of scalable, resilient infrastructure across physical and cloud environments.
• Set standards for Windows Server, AD, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Lead network design including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
