Job Description:

MCS Group is seeking an Information Security Compliance Specialist to join an organization that implements world-firsts within the Cyber Security realm. This role is ideal for individuals with strong security knowledge, particularly in ISO27001 or SOC2 frameworks, and experience working within an IT audit function. The role offers opportunities to expand skills into various areas of IT security.

The role involves:

• Auditing a wide variety of IT estates and technologies regarding governance, risk, and compliance
• Conducting risk assessments and proactively ensuring data protection
• Advising and implementing a range of InfoSec projects considering security principles

Requirements to succeed:

• At least 1 year of experience within an IT audit or compliance role (ISO27001 or SOC2)
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, especially cloud-based
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred: Hands-on experience with ISO27001 or SOC2, and confidence in discussing the opportunity with potential candidates.
