Job summary

Charles River Laboratories in the UK is seeking a hands-on Vulnerability Analyst to join our cyber security defense. This technical role requires solid knowledge of information security, operating systems, networking, cloud infrastructure, and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Responsibilities include vulnerability management, reporting, remediation and continuous assessment. You will conduct penetration tests on internal and cloud-based assets, assist auditors, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in information security operations or vulnerability management.
• Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK and SDLC.
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash, Perl or PowerShell.
• Security-related certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerabilities across applications, endpoints, databases, networks, and cloud assets.
• Conduct continuous discovery and vulnerability assessments of enterprise assets.
• Support auditors and drive risk reduction through remediation.
• Perform penetration tests against internal and cloud-based assets, web apps and APIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
