Job summary

Super Group is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise-grade security controls across cloud and hybrid environments. You will contribute to security reviews, incident response, and automation while collaborating with global teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering, cloud guardrails in AWS/Azure, and AD/Entra ID administration, with a focus on protecting platforms, people and customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering, security operations, or cyber security roles.
• Cloud security across Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience administering and securing Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of DLP, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, and firewall technologies.
• Experience investigating and responding to security incidents.
• Strong networking and infrastructure security knowledge.
• Certifications such as SSCP, CCSP, CEH, CySA+ or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls aligned to ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOX, CIS, and NIST.
• Build and enforce cloud security guardrails across AWS and Azure environments.
• Monitor cloud platforms for security threats, misconfigurations, and anomalous activity.
• Manage Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
• Support IAM, network security, firewall management, and segmentation initiatives.
• Enhance DLP, CASB, and Secure Web Gateway capabilities.
• Drive automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Act as a security SME during incident response investigations and remediation activities.
• Conduct security reviews, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to controls and processes.

We're looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to help strengthen and evolve our global security capability. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll design, implement, and operate enterprise-grade security controls across cloud and hybrid environments while helping keep our platforms, people, and customers secure.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping and maturing our security landscape by:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOX, CIS, and NIST
• Building and enforcing cloud security guardrails across AWS and Azure environments
• Monitoring cloud platforms for security threats, misconfigurations, and anomalous activity
• Managing and improving Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments
• Supporting IAM, network security, firewall management, and segmentation initiatives
• Enhancing DLP, CASB, and Secure Web Gateway capabilities
• Driving automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Acting as a security SME during incident response investigations and remediation activities

What we’re looking for

We're interested in security professionals who combine deep technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong experience in Information Security Engineering, Security Operations, or Cyber Security roles
• Hands-on experience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience administering and securing Active Directory and Entra ID
• Knowledge of DLP, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, and firewall technologies
• Experience investigating and responding to security incidents
• Strong networking and infrastructure security knowledge
• Relevant certifications such as SSCP, CCSP, CEH, CySA+ or similar

Nice to have

• Experience within online gaming, betting, fintech, or highly regulated industries
• Knowledge of gambling regulations and compliance frameworks
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Understanding of sportsbook or gaming platforms
