Cognisys is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Consultant to join our GRC Consulting team. You will work across advisory, security improvement and specialist client engagements in a predominantly remote role with minimal site visits.

You will apply practical information security expertise to help clients manage risk, mature security programmes and make informed decisions beyond generic frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security or cybersecurity applied to client environments.
• Ability to provide practical guidance beyond frameworks and checklists.
• Strong consulting skills with stakeholder management experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver ongoing information security advisory engagements across multiple clients.
• Lead vCISO-style advisory services and security programme development.
• Assess and improve existing security programmes for maturity and sustainability.
• Develop security roadmaps, risk registers and remediation plans.
• Communicate risks and recommendations clearly to audiences at all levels.
