Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Deputy Head of Information Governance (Interim) to lead information governance strategies, policies, assurance and compliance across the organisation. The role includes senior leadership, advising on data protection, information risk, FOI/EIR, and records management, and managing the IG team.

You will support the Board with governance papers and statutory information requests.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or first degree and/or equivalent professional experience/qualifications.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in information governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and expert advice across the Trust, working closely with the Head of Information Governance.
• Oversee statutory information requests, including FOI/EIR and Subject Access Requests.
• Lead IG Advisors and an administrator to develop an effective team.
• Review Data Protection Impact Assessments and advise services.
• Support compliance with the NHS DSP Toolkit and governance reporting.
