Job summary

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Information Governance Manager (NHS AfC Band 6) in Crawley. The role focuses on data protection, confidentiality, information security and records management across the Trust.

You will lead governance initiatives, advise on policy development and drive compliance with NHS standards while supporting improvement projects and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Information Governance, Data Protection or Information Security.
• Experience in developing policies, procedures and governance frameworks in healthcare.
• NHS or healthcare experience with strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on Information Governance, Data Protection, confidentiality and information security.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, NHS guidance and internal policies.
• Investigate Information Governance incidents and breaches with root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement Information Governance training and awareness activities.
• Prepare reports and action plans for governance groups and committees.
