The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Deputy IG Manager to monitor and report on compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and to provide expert guidance on ROPA, DPIAs, data breach management and data sharing across corporate and clinical services. The Deputy IG Manager will deputise for the Head of IG and DPO as required.

Responsibilities include line management of the IG Officer, and ensuring compliance with FOI and Environmental Information

Qualifications

• Knowledge across the Information Governance spectrum.
• Credible knowledge of hardware, software and systems.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in developing and delivering IG training and materials; ability to motivate staff.
• Experience in developing management control mechanisms.
• Note: eligibility to work in the UK per gov.uk guidance.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head of IG and DPO in delivering Information Governance workstreams.
• Provide advice in areas such as Information Security, Records Management, FOI, Data Protection and Confidentiality.
