Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Senior Information Analyst for Hospitals, Mental Health & Child Health and Performance & Outcomes. The role is fixed-term for 23 months, 36 hours per week, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to develop academic links with the University of Aberdeen and the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science.

You will produce and explain intelligence related to hospital activity, waiting lists and other topics, using SQL and Tableau to build dashboards

Qualifications

• Experience with large dataset extraction and manipulation.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization.
• Ability to interpret data and support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Produce intelligence on hospital activity and waiting lists.
• Quality control of National routine deliverables.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests and prepare performance reports.
• Develop dashboards in Tableau and query data with SQL.
