Job summary

Victim Support is seeking a Senior IDVA for a maternity cover role in Bedfordshire. The post is a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2027 with hybrid working within Bedford Borough Council.

The Senior IDVA will represent the service at the Bedford Borough MARAC and support the Front Door with DA queries while managing a reduced caseload. The ideal candidate holds an IDVA qualification with experience in multi-agency partnerships, safeguarding, and confidential file maintenance.

We are looking for a qualified IDVA for this maternity cover role on fixed term contract until 31st October 2027. This role will be hybrid and be located within Bedford Borough Council. This role supports the service across Bedford Borough. As a Senior IDVA for the specialist services team you will:

• Be a SPOC for the Front Door - giving advice and support around queries/ concerns about DA
• Carry a reduced caseload
• Support the Safe & Together model
• Have line management responsibilities including Bedford Borough IDVA
