Travel Trade Recruitment seeks a Senior Inbound Groups Executive to develop and manage group travel for the UK, Scotland and Ireland. You will build relationships with clients and suppliers, craft tailored itineraries, and coordinate with operations to ensure seamless group experiences.

The role emphasizes proactive opportunities, accurate quotes, and timely invoicing, with a focus on delivering memorable, tailor-made group journeys. London/hybrid work is offered.

Formación

• Fluency in English and a second European language is essential; a third language is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in a UK & Ireland inbound operator handling groups.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination and current market prices.
• Experience preparing quotes and operating groups.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Inbound Groups Executive to join our team. You will help create memorable travel experiences for groups from around the world, offering everything from tailor-made cultural and special-interest tours to immersive experiential programmes, series handling and our own guaranteed departures.

The Job

• Build professional relations via networking and calls, creating proactive opportunities to be considered for groups travelling to our destinations in the UK , Scotland and Ireland, quote all groups in Uk , Scotland and Ireland, making sure client's needs are clear.
• To build relationships and maintain a great working relationship with clients, suppliers and fellow team members. Success is in part individual drive and in part harmonious teamwork.
• Being pro-active and able to recognize potential key wins and to offer the most suitable products and prices for the specific potential client
• To assume all responsibility for your clients pending and confirmed groups along with the operation team.
• To create the technical itinerary based on the client program and on the offer, making sure all details are correctly inserted in the system with rates/budget required.
• To liaise with the operation team giving full and clear instructions on how to book all services required, asking for up-dates on placing and deadlines.
• To be able to book services when needed, participating to placement and itinerary adjustments based on availability of hotels and attractions.
• To understand supplier Contracts and able to negotiate terms and conditions, in order to match terms and conditions offered to the client.
• To send invoices to clients on time and ensure that all payments are made within time guidelines and always prior to the group's arrival.
• To liaise with accounts and make sure that terms and conditions for payment are respected both by client and from our part towards suppliers, as per agreements.
• To ensure all your files are kept in an organized manner that enables others to cover for you if the need arises.

Skills required:

• Language skills: Fluency in English and a second European language (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) is essential, and a third language would be advantageous.
• Experience: a minimum of 3 years of experience in a UK and Ireland inbound operator in a group's role handling the groups visiting our destinations. Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.
• Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination. Excellent knowledge of rates and current market prices. Familiarity with use of Tourplan is a plus.
• Communication: the ability to be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Flexibility: to be able to adapt to changing situations, market requirements, and being open to new ideas.
• Organizational skills: great attention to detail and speed working under pressure. Ability to work in compliance with deadlines and prioritizing key concrete opportunities first.
